Shabbat Shalom Brothers & Sisters in the body of Christ and Happy Passover. Today marks the first month of the LORDS calendar year (Exodus 12). The month our Redeemer, and the Rock of our hope, began our exodus from Egypt (Exodus 20). We observe the Passover, and all other feast, on the Sabbath. Keeping us aligned with the kingdom of heaven and it’s feast and celebrations.
As we look back with joy on the mighty works the LORD has done in that time, let us not forget why it was necessary. We have sinned against our LORD repeatedly and He removed His covering from us. We chose to go after unholy things (continously-1 Kings 8:33-34), but because of His steadfast loving kindness, He kept His anger only for a time (Psalms 103:9).
This wicked world has taught us that the good, holy and righteous things of the Lord are done away with. They have turned good into evil and evil into good (Isaiah 5:20). And woe unto all who trample upon the precious and sacred things of the Lord (Revelation 11:1-2).
The churches that are set up for gain and do the work of the Lord deceitfully (Jeremiah 48:10/Jeremiah 23) have done away with the Lord holy feast days as prophesied in the book of Daniel (Daniel 9,11 & Matthew 24). But only a remnant (Isaiah 10; Micah 2), a residue of the children of Jacob, will heed the Lords word and come out from amongst the wicked and be separate and holy (Revelation 18; 2 Corinthians 6). Preparing themselves and their garments made white for the days of righteousness (Daniel 12; Revelation 7).
Let us honor our LORD and offer up sacrifices and praises (Psalms) with thanksgiving as we sing joyful noises and hymns unto Him. This marked the first covenant and church we made with our Creator and He with us. No longer shall we live life according to our own wicked as the provocations in the days of wilderness (Hebrews 3; Psalms 34). We have a great God, Lord and Father who’d do ANYTHING, in righteousness and Holiness, for us. What greater love is there (Deuteronomy 4;John15)?
